Driving without a ticket
Without a valid ticket, an additional fee of up to € 140.00 must be paid. Pupils and apprentices must always carry a valid ticket and a valid student or apprentice ID with them.
Ticket inspection
If you forget your VOR annual pass during a ticket check, that's not a problem either: If you check Wiener Linien means of transport, ownership of your annual ticket can be checked immediately, so that no additional fee is imposed. In the case of controls in other means of transport, you can send us a copy or a scan of your VOR annual ticket afterwards, and the additional fee will be canceled again. Please note, however, that the transport companies and VOR reserve the right, according to the fare regulations, to charge a processing fee for the subsequent verification of the annual ticket.
