Driving without a ticket

Without a valid ticket, an additional charge of up to €185.00 must be paid. Schoolchildren and apprentices are also required to carry a valid ticket as well as a valid school or apprentice ID at all times.

Ticket inspection

If you have been issued a payment request following a ticket inspection, please note that the payment is due within two weeks from the date on which the payment request was issued.

To ensure that your payment is correctly allocated and fully settles the outstanding claim, please transfer the amount to the bank account specified on the payment request and quote the payment reference number ("Reference No.") exactly as indicated.

Forgotten your personalised VOR ticket?

If you simply forgot to carry your personalised VOR ticket or the required proof of eligibility (e.g. ID card or entitlement document) during the ticket inspection, there is no need to worry.

Please send us a copy or scan of the required documents after the inspection by email to kontrolle[at]vor.at. We will review your case accordingly.

Please note that, in accordance with the VOR Fare Regulations, the participating transport operators and VOR GmbH reserve the right to charge an administrative processing fee for the subsequent verification of a personalised ticket and any supporting documents.
